To ensure that our archaeological investigations meet the expectations of our clients and regulatory agencies, our principal investigators exceed the professional qualification standards for archaeology adopted by the United States Secretary of the Interior (48 FR 44716), and they are prequalified by State Historic Preservation Offices in Ohio, Indiana, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Kentucky, Illinois, Maryland, Tennessee, and Michigan to conduct archaeological investigations in those states. Our archaeological investigations meet the United States Secretary of the Interior's standards for identification, evaluation, and documentation (48 FR 44716), and follow the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation's regulations for the Protection of Historic Properties (36 CFR Part 800). The archaeology staff regularly attends conferences and training workshops to enhance their knowledge and skills providing our clients with a professional and high-quality product.
Regional offices provide clients with projects in the eastern United States with archaeological services that can be delivered promptly and efficiently. We have successfully completed more than 1,600 archaeological investigations representing a wide range of projects for a diverse assortment of clients. Archaeological investigations have been successfully completed on transportation (road and bridge, rail, air, and water), mining (surface and underground), industrial, commercial, residential, telecommunication, park, and gas, sewer, water, and fiber optic lines, among others, for private, Federal, state, and local agency clients.
