The archaeology division employs a full-time, permanent staff of principal investigators and archaeological technicians to conduct the full spectrum of archaeological investigations. Specific services offered include:

  • Phase I Surveys & Phase II Evaluations
  • Phase III Data Recovery/Mitigation
  • Cultural Resource Management Plans (CRMP)
  • Documentation for Consultation
  • Tribal Consultation Coordination
  • Public Education and Involvement
  • Curation Services
  • Drone-based Aerial Photography and Photogrammetry

Architectural History Services

This division employs a full-time staff of architectural historians and historians to conduct a wide range of preservation studies. We specialize in the following activities:

  • Architectural History Surveys (Reconnaissance and Intensive Levels)
  • Determinations of Eligibility/Effects
  • Memoranda (MOA)/Programmatic (PA) Agreements
  • Historic American Buildings Survey (HABS) Documents
  • Historic American Engineering Record (HAER) Documents
  • National Register of Historic Places Nominations

Environmental Services

This division employs a full-time staff of ecologists and environmental specialists.  We specialize in the following activities:

Ecological and Wetland Services include:

  • Terrestrial and Aquatic Surveys
  • Wetland Delineations and Waterway Permitting
  • Endangered Species Surveys
  • Wildlife Hazard Assessment
  • IDEM Rule 5 Storm Water Permitting – Indiana

Environmental Services include:

  • Environmental Site Assessments (Screening, Phase I, Phase II)
  • Air Quality Analysis and Modeling
  • Noise Analysis and Abatement
  • Asbestos and Industrial Hygiene Services
  • Environmental Document Preparation (EA, EIS, CE, 4(f))
